PGD in Supply Chain Management

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaged), Gadgets & Accessories, Electronics & Appliances, Fashion & Cosmetics, E-commerce.

Responsibilities & Context

Sourcing new items according to the demand of Bangladesh, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, and the UAE Market. Apply the most cost-effective strategy.
Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable international and local suppliers.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.

Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and trends.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth operations.

Attend international trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
New Vendor Identification and Alternate Source Development

Develop sourcing strategies, conduct market analysis, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
Prepare, review, and validate all import documents (LC, Bill of Lading, etc.).

Identify and resolve issues arising from unexpected circumstances, ensuring supply chain resilience.
Use data to provide insights, improve strategies, and report to management.
Work with production, finance, and sales teams.
Coordinate with banks, C&F agents, shipping lines, and ports for clearance and delivery.
